One of the best Burgers in New York City and it is under $6? Is this possible? Yes it is if you are at Corner Bistro

You would be hard pressed to find a top ten list of best burgers in New York City without seeing the name Corner Bistro on it. The Menu is simple. The Bistro Burger with Bacon, Cheese, and Raw Onion (I don't like lettuce and tomato on my Burger) is a 1/2 lb. Burger served on a paper plate that is simply awesome.

The Grilled Cheese with Bacon is filled with Bacon and Cheese and is as good as any Grilled Cheese I have ever had. The shoestring Fries are sold separately and are a perfect compliment to the great Burgers. The $2 McSorley's mugs help wash down the food and will definitely help if you choose to wait on the sometimes absurd lines that occur at odd hours of the day and night. It appears to be completely random when there will be a line. This is the one downfall of this dark old bar, the long waits. Sometimes it is better to grab a seat at the bar and eat there as opposed to waiting on a snake like line that sometimes goes from the small front room to outside onto the sidewalk. If there is a line of more then 5 or 10 people I will always opt to go someplace else and return another day.
